Qimanlin

It means longevity temple in Tibetan. To the north of Dazhao temple in Lhasa, it is one of the four major jungles in Lhasa. The main building is two Dukang halls with three floors. The first hall is for Buddha statues, and its ground floor buildings and murals are well preserved. In the hall, beams and painted pillars are carved with bright colors; the other hall is dedicated to pagodas. The temple was built in 1777, the 40th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. The founder is a Wang chuchen, who was a monk of sera temple. He was called to Beijing during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. He was the Regent of Tibet in 1777, and presided over the construction of cemanlin temple. Not far from the west of the temple, there are villas inhabited by ceman Hutuktu.
