It is 8 km away from Binhai New Area, 5 nautical miles away from phosphorite Island, 2 km away from Yerong beach, and 5 km long coastline. As the beach is separated from the outside by a small river going out to sea, the water is too deep to reach after high tide. When the tide is low, the water is shallow.
