Shuangquan temple is located at the Northeast foot of Xiangwang peak, on the west side of Qianbu sand. It was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. It is said that the nunnery was not long after it was built. The design is exquisite, the layout is elegant, and it has a strong cultural atmosphere. There are many pilgrims and believers. Soon after, it was discovered that there were two fountains gushing out from under the rocks beside the temple. After drinking, people suddenly felt refreshed and tired, so they all lamented the effectiveness of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Because of this reason, the nunnery was named "Shuangquan nunnery". The nunnery is close to the mountain and the sea. Shuangquan nunnery is now a famous place for meditation experience in Putuo Mountain.
