Shuijingfang Museum

Chengdu Shuijingfang museum is a collection of cultural relics exhibition hall, intangible heritage demonstration site, liquor culture experience center, and the origin of high-quality famous liquor. It focuses on protecting and displaying the original appearance of shuijingjie distillery, a national key cultural relic with a history of 600 years. It reproduces the 600 year old national intangible cultural Heritage "traditional brewing techniques of Shuijingfang liquor" with real production scenes to show the water quality Jingfang is a theme museum for liquor culture experience. The museum has a complete collection of relics unearthed from shuijingjie distillery site, production tools needed for traditional brewing techniques of Shuijingfang liquor, trademarks, products, cultural goods and honorary medals of Shuijingfang company in various periods.

Introduction to Shuijingfang Museum

Located at no.19-21 Shuijing street, Jinjiang District, Chengdu City, Chengdu Shuijingfang museum was invested by Sichuan Shuijingfang Co., Ltd. and opened to the public on July 18, 2013. Chengdu Shuijingfang museum is a collection of cultural relics exhibition hall, intangible heritage demonstration site, liquor culture experience center, and the origin of high-quality famous liquor. It focuses on protecting and displaying the original appearance of shuijingjie distillery, a national key cultural relic with a history of 600 years. The museum is divided into main exhibition area and attached exhibition area. The main exhibition area is Shuijingfang special culture, and the attached exhibition area is international multi wine culture. The main exhibition area of Shuijingfang is divided into three parts: the protective display of shuijingjie distillery site, the inheritance display of traditional brewing techniques of Shuijingfang liquor, and the cultural experience center of Shuijingfang liquor. The attached exhibition area displays five international high-end distilled spirits including vodka, whisky and gin, which further enrich people's knowledge of liquor culture. The shuijingjie distillery site lasted for 600 years from the end of the Yuan Dynasty to the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. The only Chinese Baijiu and wine shop found by the State Administration of cultural heritage is the only "Chinese liquor first workshop". Its historical value can match Qin Shihuang's Terracotta Army, and it is a history without any word in the development of Chinese baijiu. It is listed as "national key cultural relics protection unit" by the State Council and "China world cultural heritage preliminary list". The traditional brewing techniques of Shuijingfang are classified as "national intangible cultural heritage". The Shuijingfang liquor brewed by China is the "original product of People's Republic of China origin". This is the first Chinese Baijiu flavor liquor to be protected by the original geographical location. In the future, Chengdu Shuijingfang Museum, together with many historical and cultural attractions and modern buildings around, will form a strong block scale effect, and will greatly promote the development of regional industries in Jinjiang District and the overall promotion of Chengdu's urban cultural image under the combination of modern and traditional, fashion and classic.
