HUANGFUSHAN National Forest Park is located in Nanqiao District, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, between Nanjing, Bengbu and Hefei. It is the "roof" of hills in East Anhui Province.

Huangfu mountain was called Quting mountain and beijiangjun mountain in ancient times. It was named after huangfuhui, a general of the Southern Tang Dynasty, who stationed troops here.

HUANGFUSHAN National Forest Park is located in the humid monsoon climate zone of north subtropical zone, with an altitude of 399.2 meters, a total area of 53273 Mu and a forest coverage rate of 96%. It has the most complete preserved and the largest area of primary secondary forest landscape belt in Jianghuai region, and is known as Xishuangbanna in East China.

On February 16, 2020, the scenic spot issued an announcement. From the end of the epidemic and the date of the scenic spot's resumption of operation to December 31, 2020, medical workers from all over the country (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) will enter the park free of charge with their valid certificates (doctor's card, nurse's card and other medical work-related qualification certificates) and original ID cards.

HUANGFUSHAN National Forest Park is located in the west suburb of Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, 45 kilometers away, 128 kilometers away from Hefei and 98 kilometers away from Nanjing. The geographical coordinates are 117 ° 58 '- 118 ° 03' e and 32 ° 17 '- 32 ° 25' n. Langya Mountain Scenic Area in the East, Shenshan National Forest Park in the south, Linghu Mountain Scenic Area in the West and Dabaogan Memorial Hall in the north. The total area of the forest park is 53273 mu.

HUANGFUSHAN National Forest Park is located in the Yangtze Huaihe River watershed, with many ponds and streams. Xianghe river originates from the southern foot of Huangfu mountain; Wadian river originates from jiubanqiao near the junction of beijiangjunling and Huangfengling, flows southeast after leaving the mountain, and joins with the tributaries from the south of Huangfu Mountain National Forest Park in beijiangjunling through Quting, and finally flows into Qingliu River in the East.

Botany

There are 114 species of wild plants in HUANGFUSHAN National Forest Park, including more than 10 species of Ginkgo biloba, Dalbergia, Liriodendron and other national second and third class protected tree species. The main plants are pine, beech, maple, Liquidambar, chestnut, tea tree, Toona sinensis, Platycodon grandiflorum, Panax notoginseng, Plantago, chrysanthemum, longzhaohua, honeysuckle, etc.

There are more than 130 kinds of wild animals in HUANGFUSHAN National Forest Park, including 15 national class II protected animals and 26 provincial protected animals. The main animals are turtle, hairy crab, white crowned pheasant, egret, egret, pond heron, cattle egret, Chinese Egret, great egret, night heron, heron and so on.

Scenic spots

Jiangjunjing

Jiangjunjing is located in the north of beijiangjunling, which is named after the garrison of huangfuhui, a general of the Southern Tang Dynasty. The wellhead is octagonal, about one foot high, with three long stone piers on the side.

fire-tower

Located on the main peak of Huangfu mountain, the watchtower is a four story tower building, about 10 meters high, built on the original site of the beacon tower in the past.

Nanqiaogong tea garden

Nanqiaogong tea garden is located in front of Mituo temple, with an area of more than 60 mu.

Shuanglongtan waterfall

Shuanglongtan waterfall is located at the side of Jinjia stream. It is named because it flows between two huge stones. The waterfall is formed by the confluence of many springs on the mountain. It pours down along the cliff. It is hanging in front of the stone wall like Bailian, forming a waterfall like jade beads.

Development and construction

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, a state-owned forest farm was established in Huangfu mountain.

In 1981, HUANGFUSHAN Forest Park was approved as a provincial nature reserve.

On July 2, 1992, the former Ministry of forestry approved the establishment of a national forest park.

On May 1, 2006, HUANGFUSHAN Forest Park was officially opened to tourists.

Local specialties

Stir fry in Sanhe

Sanhe stir fry is made by slicing agaric, onion, sauce, fresh meat, garlic, water celery and red pepper.

Braised mandarin fish in brown sauce

Braised Osmanthus fragrans is to marinate the head and tail of Osmanthus fragrans with salt and other seasonings for a while, then put them into the cage and steam them with high heat. Slice the fish into large pieces, marinate for a while, add the dried cornflour, stir well and size; cut the stinky tofu into strips; remove the pedicel of wild pepper and chop fine. Heat the oil in a wok to 30% heat. Take the fish fillets wrapped with stinky tofu strips and deep fry them until golden. Then remove and drain the oil. Put in the seasoning, put in the fried osmanthus fish roll, heat it to taste, then pour in the red oil.

Braised spare ribs with glutinous rice

The method of cooking spareribs with glutinous rice is as follows: wash the glutinous rice and soak it for 2 hours, then steam it in the steamer with high heat; boil the small spareribs in the pan for 30 minutes, take them out, deep fry them in the oil pan until golden yellow, and drain the oil; then put water and soft sugar in the frying pan, slowly boil them over low heat, add salt, soy sauce and vinegar when the surface bubbles, and when they are deep red, put the fried small spareribs into the pan and evenly remove them.

① Self driving: hening Expressway and nanluo expressway can reach Chuzhou, pass ChuDing Road, turn from Daliu town and continue to walk for 16 km.

② Public transportation: take the bus from Chuzhou bus station to Daliu, then transfer to Quting or Huangfu, a total of 65 km.
