Shigu Road Catholic Church

Shigulu Catholic Church in Nanjing, namely shigulu Catholic Church, was built in 1870. It was seriously damaged during the northern expedition. In 1928, the national government funded the reconstruction. Since the 1930s, it has been the Bishop's Cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Nanjing. After 1978, the Patriotic Catholic Association of Jiangsu Province and Nanjing City Co operated here. It is a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province, and has been selected as a famous church in China.
