Fairy Bay scenic spot

Xiannvwan is located in the north of Qinghai Province, 16km south of Gangcha county. It is said that it is the place where the queen mother of the West invited the emperor mu of the Central Plains to meet. The highlights here are wetland scenery, corridor and Swan watching. Generally, swans can be seen from October to December. Around may in Qinghai Lake, besides Bird Island, there are many birds living in Xiannv Bay. Fairy Bay scenic spot

Xiannvwan scenic spot is located on the Hubei Bank of Qinghai Lake. It is an important wetland of Qinghai Lake and the home of swans. It has rich biodiversity and is positioned as "a place to infect people". The beautiful plateau meadow wetland and colorful Tibetan culture make it a tourist attraction integrating plateau wetland ecological experience and sea sacrifice culture. Every autumn and winter, groups of swans live here.

In the peak season of 2018, the erlangjian scenic spot and xiannvwan scenic spot will be temporarily opened in Qinghai Lake scenic spot.

In February 2020, Qinghai Lake Scenic Area announced that xiannvwan scenic area will be open to medical workers nationwide free of charge from the date of resumption of opening to December 31, 2020.

Wetland

Wetland is the home with the richest biodiversity on the earth, which is closely related to the survival and reproduction of human beings. It is the highest value ecosystem in the world and is known as the "kidney" of the earth. It has the reputation of "cradle of life", "species gene bank" and "Bird Paradise". As one of the seven largest wetlands in the world, Qinghai Lake wetland was listed in the international important wetlands manual by the United Nations in 1992, and joined the Convention on international important wetlands of waterfowl habitat, which will improve its international reputation and research value for the protection and scientific research of Qinghai Lake wetland.

San Sheng La Ze

With a height of 37 meters, it is the highest one among all Tibetan areas in China. Mongolian is called "EBO" and Tibetan is called "laze", which means praying for peace. It is made up of the heads of god horse, God cow and God sheep, so it is called "San Sheng La Ze". According to relevant historical documents, in 1652, the fifth Dalai Lama, rosang Gyatso, passed through Beijing on his way back to Tibet. He saw that the horses, cattle and sheep here were fat and strong, and the water and grass were rich. Therefore, he established laze here to protect the people and animals of the grassland. At that time, he was 37 years old. For this reason, the auspicious number of "San Sheng La Ze" was 37. "Laze" is usually on the top of the mountain, which is the symbol of the local mountain god and the place of primitive religious nature worship in Tibetan areas. In general, every place has its own Lazer, in which there are cypress cards with Sanskrit mantra written by lamas in Xin Hong, eight auspicious treasures, grain, medicine, etc., and wooden poles with hada, wool, red cloth, etc., called Vajra pestle.

Transit corridor

Turning corridor is the only way to extend to the sacrificial platform, with a length of 999 meters, which means long and smooth sailing. In the process of walking, you can see 108 Scripture turning barrels, which are the same as the number of Buddhist beads, representing 108 disciples of the Buddha. Sacrifice to Haitai

The platform extending to Qinghai Lake is the place for sea sacrifice. It has two levels, the upper one is for the venerable monks to preach, and the lower one is for other monks to chant. Next to them are colorful prayer flags, the colors on them represent blue sky, white clouds, grass, sun and loess. When the wind blows the prayer flag, it means heaven, earth and people. I read all the Scriptures, including you, to pray for the flourishing grassland, the prosperity of people and animals, and the safety of my family. Then all the people who invited the vase, while the monks prayed, threw the vase to the lake to fulfill all their dreams and wishes.

Offering sacrifices to the sea has a long history and mysterious religious culture. Qinghai Lake has always been regarded as an immortal sea in history. There are religious and political activities of offering sacrifices to the sea in all dynasties. As early as the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty granted the West Sea God guangrungong, and Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty added the title Tongsheng guangrungong in the first year of Qingli Couples and religious believers all come here to worship by burning mulberry. "Mulberry" is Tibetan, meaning purification. Tibetans think that the living beings in the holy lake are most afraid of the pollution of the lake water, and pay special attention to the cleaning of the lake water. Therefore, Tibetans use "burning mulberry" to purify the lake water. When "simmering mulberry", the most taboo is throwing unclean booty into the lake and digging stone and soil beside the spring.
