Tianma mountain scenic spot is located ten kilometers north of Funing District, Qinhuangdao City, which is the remnant of Yanshan mountain. The most famous inscriptions are cliff inscriptions. The five existing inscriptions are all made by the generals of the Ming Dynasty. In addition, there are "XuanZhen Temple", "Qigong Pavilion" and "Tianma Mountain Gate", which are connected by green pines and cypresses. Tianma lake is located at the corner of Tianma mountain, which has the reputation of "human yaochi".

Tianma mountain, Qinhuangdao

Tianma mountain is located ten kilometers north of Funing County, Qinhuangdao city. It belongs to the remaining veins of Yanshan mountain, with an altitude of 300 meters. It is named because of the huge stone on the peak, which looks like galloping horses in the clouds. Tianma mountain is surrounded by mountains, green water flows around, the peaks are abrupt and beautiful, and the pines in the rock gap compete for green. The caves and caves are deep and shallow, and there are many dangers hidden in them. The grotesque peaks and rocks lie and stand in different places. The spring in the mountains is full of music, the birds in the forest are singing and the warblers are singing. The Bush is overgrown, the fox wears the rabbit, the mountain flower is brilliant, and the fight is gorgeous. It's nature that makes the fairyland, and the Lord of heaven draws the landscape.

In 1579 A.D., Qi Jiguang, a national hero, visited the frontier and passed through Tianma mountain. He found that it was a good place for training soldiers and horses because of its rich soil, sweet water, clear springs and beautiful peaks. There are also cliff stone carvings inscribed by Qi Jiguang and his subordinates Huang Xiaogan, Fu guangzhai, sun Ren and Zhang Chen, which are protected cultural relics at the provincial level.

Tianma mountain is most famous for its inscriptions on cliffs. There are five inscriptions, all of which were made by the generals of the Ming Dynasty. On the right side of the stone gate of the main peak, there are three powerful characters "Tianma mountain", more than one meter long and one meter wide, inscribed with the inscription "Ding Yuan Qi Jiguang inscribed by Fan Yang and Zhang Jue". There are two lines of characters engraved on the two huge stones in the southwest of the upper part of the main peak: on the right is "a list of mountains and rivers"; on the right is "shanghuanjie in winter and November of the 11th year of Wanli"; on the next is "huangxiaogan's book of Suiyang, the deputy commander in chief"; on the right is "Tianma XingKong"; on the right is "winter and October of the 14th year of Wanli"; on the right is "Liaocheng Fuguang's house book".

Beside the main peak, there is a platform of more than Zhangyu. To the east of the platform, on the stone screen under the very steep rock in the sky, there are four big characters "daili mountain and river", inscribed with "Wanli Xinmao guerrilla general Yunzhong sunren, the Deputy General of the CPC entering the pass, Shanxi Lintong, in his spare time, climb Tianma mountain to enjoy the scenery, and comment on the ancient and modern topics.". Detour north, through the "sword hole", in a screen like 4 Zhang high, 1.4 Zhang wide rock, engraved with the script "sea and sky in the eye", the first paragraph "Wanli 14 years of winter and October", the next paragraph "Guanzhong Zhangchen book, Shanggu jieyiqing carving". The mountain cliff is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province.

Tianma mountain scenic area has many huge stones and caves, such as "houer Wanghai", "Hanhai", "Liangjia mountain", "shuanmazhu", "Xianju cave" and "Yanzi Fanshen". In addition, there are "XuanZhen Temple", ingenious "bell rack", mysterious "copper well", ethereal "Dianjiang platform", imaginative "Qigong Pavilion", and powerful "Qigong Pavilion" The statue of Qi Jiguang has 588 steps shaped like streamers, and the "Tianma Mountain Gate" connected by pines and cypresses is integrated with the natural landscape. Tianma lake is located at the corner of Tianma mountain. The lake area is beautiful with green trees. It is a summer resort for you and has the reputation of "human yaochi". It's a good place for people to go sightseeing.
