Zhaitou SAMA Temple

The SAMA ancestral temple in zhaitou, which is worshiped by the Dong people, covers all villages with different sizes. The earliest SAMA ancestral temple recorded in history was built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The largest SAMA ancestral temple is zhaitou SAMA ancestral temple (a county-level cultural relic protection unit) in CHEJIANG township. It is composed of gatehouse, flower wall, patio and main hall. It covers an area of 223 square meters, It reflects the legacy of Dong matriarchal clan society.
