"Governance" is the center of each parish, and yangpingzhi is the first of the 24, which is the "central parish". It has a prominent position, and its contribution is the hereditary system inherited by the Taoist leaders for future generations. After three generations, Zhang Lu, his grandson, established a regime in which politics, religion and Han were united, so that the imperial court could not levy Thirty years after the reign of Mahatma, it was only 400 years later than Muhammad's creation of Islam in the world history, so it was praised as "East Jerusalem" by overseas scholars.

Yangpingzhi, the birthplace of Taoism in China and the central diocese, is now located in Xinxing town of Pengzhou City. Yangping temple is famous for its mountain, which is Yangping mountain in Xinxing town. Yangping governs around the mountains and defends the river. The pines and cypresses are as dense as cover, and the mountains on the Bank of the river are relatively rare. After Zhang Lu came down and Cao moved north. Taoism continued to develop, and Yangping rule still existed. Only because of avoiding the taboo of Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty, it was changed to yangpinghua, and legal affairs were still prosperous. However, since the song and Yuan Dynasties, Taoism gradually declined. After Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty declared Buddhism as the national religion, the "Heavenly Master" could not enter the dynasty. The Taoist temple of yangpingzhi also became the Buddhist Taiping temple. Li Diaoyuan's poem in the Qing Dynasty said: "hearing that there are relics in Yangping, Xianju temple has lost its golden city", which is about this change.

In the early years of the Republic of China, Taiping temple was cultivated by monks, opened up gardens to plant Tianpeng peony and other flowers and trees, and also dredged the pool which is said to be the ancient Shu state to be the "release pool". Every spring and summer, there are many tourists. In the 28th year of the Republic of China, master Neng Hai, vice president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, was born. He made a pilgrimage from India and stayed in xilongxing temple. He made a vow to rebuild Tianpeng pagoda. He personally went to Taiping temple and presided over the temple (jianta Temple). He built kilns and fired bricks, and held a banquet to preach scriptures. When he heard about it, he went up to the director of civil affairs department and down to ordinary residents, and had a lively time.

Now, in accordance with the spirit of the central religious policy, the Chinese Taoist Association has decided to restore yangpingzhi and build a Taoist College. In 1994, Fu Yuan, the former chairman of China Taoist Association, was in charge of the affairs. Quanzhen and Zhengyi, which symbolize Taoism, will conspire for the development of Taoist culture in Yangping temple and promote the reunification of the motherland.
