Dongbi Qinyin is located at the peak of Qiuhu mountain (formerly known as Qinghong mountain) 13 kilometers southeast of Lishui District, Nanjing. The mountain lies at the junction of yongyang street and Jingqiao town. The main peak is 279.8 meters above sea level. The whole mountain range is continuous, the forest is luxuriant, the grass is abundant, especially the large bamboo forest is whirling, magnificent.

The so-called cave wall is the stone pond after quarrying. Guangxu's Lishui County annals says, "there is a stone dragon pool on qinghongshan, where the natives try to pick stones." The stone pond is tens of feet deep, and the mark of axe chiseling is very clear. In the stone pond, there is a clear spring flowing out from the gap on the stone wall and dripping into the pool below. It is like the sound of zither, which is forgotten by the common people, so it is called "the zither sound of the cave wall". Dongbi Qinyin is one of the "Eight Sights of Zhongshan".
