Zijinshan Forest Park was identified as a provincial forest park in 1992. It is located in the center of Hengshan County, with the highest elevation of 440m and the lowest elevation of 70m.

The mountain forest covers an area of 2525 mu, with beautiful forest environment and rich resources. There are green tree lined mountain roads, unique ancient temples, and poems and writings of literati, which have great potential for tourism development.

JINZI peak in the park is one of the 72 peaks of Nanyue, with an altitude of 268 meters.
