Dianshan Lake Wetland

Dianshan Lake is located in the west of Qingpu County, Shanghai, adjacent to Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. It is the largest natural freshwater lake in Shanghai, covering an area of 62 square kilometers. It belongs to the Taihu Lake Basin and is the source of Huangpu River, the mother river of Shanghai. It has a pleasant scene of "the wind blows down the reeds, the fishing boats float on the lake, and the lotus laughs in the pond". Around the lake, there are five national AAAA scenic spots, such as famous Zhujiajiao ancient town, Shanghai Grand View Garden, Oriental Green Boat, Shanghai Sun Island and Chen Yun memorial hall; three international standard golf courses; and around the lake trail, wetland park, rural tourism and holiday village, with complete sightseeing and leisure facilities and a blend of ancient and modern temperament. Dianshan Lake not only has a large area, equivalent to 11.5 West Lakes, but also has clear water quality (National Grade II water quality). It is suitable for water sports, including rowing, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, dragon boat and other pollution-free sports.
