Qingpu Library

Qingpu District Library is designed by the famous designer Ma Qingyun. It is located on the Xiayang Lake in the new urban area of Qingpu. The whole building is wavy. It is set off with the open roof garden, the waterscape of Xiayang lake and the garden around the lake. The environment is elegant and unique. It has a collection of nearly 500000 books, nearly 1000 kinds of newspapers and periodicals, as well as a large number of digital books and electronic journals. As a branch of Shanghai Central Library, it has participated in the "all in one card" circulation of Shanghai Library, realizing the whole city's book borrowing and reading network, borrowing and returning, and complementary resources. At the same time, as the Central Library of the region, it tries to play the role of coordination and guidance, and establish a service network of literature information service and literature resources co construction and sharing covering the whole region.

Qingpu Library

Qingpu library is a modern district level public library, located on Xiayang Lake in the new urban area of Qingpu. With modern style, advanced facilities and elegant environment, it is one of the important cultural symbols of Qingpu. General situation of Library

As a branch library of Shanghai Central Library, it is connected with Shanghai Library and other district and county libraries, and has complementary resources. In addition to books and periodicals borrowing, it also provides information services such as digital resources browsing, multimedia literature appreciation, reading activities, education and training, as well as electronic newspaper clipping, subject retrieval, topic tracking and so on. Based on the lecture hall, the "Qingxi forum", which is open to the general public and close to the life of the public, is attracting more and more public attention.

Qingpu library was founded in December 1959 and has undergone two relocations. It moved to Puyang Pavilion on Xiayang Lake in July 2007 and officially opened on August 28. Puyang Pavilion is designed by the famous designer Ma Qingyun. With the open roof garden, the water scenery of Xiayang lake and the garden around the lake, this "water library" has become the most characteristic and elegant Library in Shanghai, which makes readers experience the pleasure of reading and add spiritual enjoyment.

Reader card of Shanghai Central Library

1. Applicants

Chinese citizens and foreigners aged 14 or above.

2. Function

Shanghai Library, district (county) public branch libraries and grassroots service points have common lending function.

3. Certificate processing method

Readers should apply in Shanghai Central Library and district and County branch libraries with ID card, social security card, passport, Taiwan compatriot card, military card and other valid documents (those who are over 14 years old and have no ID card can hold household register). A deposit of 100 yuan must be paid when handling the certificate (to be returned when the certificate is returned).

4. Method of obtaining certificate

Readers can take the reader card on the spot after completing the application procedures.

5. Verification

The valid period of the reader's card is one year from the date of application. Before and after the expiration of the validity period, readers can go to Shanghai Library and public branch libraries of various districts (counties) to go through the verification procedures. They can also go to the homepage of the website and click on the all-in-one card reader's card to log in and renew the card by themselves.

6. Refund of deposit

If you need to return the card, please pay off the books and periodicals you borrowed, settle the overdue fee, and go to the library's card office with your ID card, reader's card and deposit certificate (the agent must show the agent's ID card), and refund the deposit of 100 yuan. For readers' cards handled in Shanghai Library and other district (county) public branch libraries, please go to the original application library for refund.

7. Report loss of reader card

If the reader card is lost carelessly, the reader should report the loss in time to the Shanghai library or the card Office of each district (county) public branch library with the ID card and other valid documents. Before handling the loss reporting procedures, the reader shall be responsible for all losses caused by the false use of the reader's card by others. After the reader card is reported lost, the card can be replaced and handled free of charge to restore its original function and validity. If the original card is found after the loss is reported, the loss report can be cancelled and the original function and validity period can be restored.

8. Supplementary certificate

If the reader card is lost or damaged and cannot be used normally, the reader can apply for a new card free of charge to restore its original function and validity.

Children's reader card of Qingpu Library

1. Applicants: children under 14 years old.

2. Function: Children's books and periodicals lending function.

3. Methods: readers (parents) should apply in our library with household register and fill in the "application form for children's reader card". You only need to pay a deposit of 50 yuan.

4. How to get the license: readers can get the license at the license office of our library on the specified date with the "license notice" and their valid certificates.

5. Verification: the validity period of the reader's card is five years from the date of application, and the voucher is verified free of charge.

6. Refund of deposit: if you need to return the card, please pay off the books and periodicals you borrowed, settle the overdue fee, and go to the library's card office with the household register, reader's card and deposit voucher (if the parents do it on their behalf, you must show the parents' ID card) to handle the refund procedure, and refund the deposit of 50 yuan.

3. Readers with "Shanghai Central Library Reader Card" or "Qingpu Library Children reader card" can access the Internet free of charge in the electronic reading room.

4. Readers holding the "reader card of Shanghai Central Library" can apply for "My Digital Library" remote access service at the main service desk or the library website for free.

General lending

1. Readers holding the "reader card of Shanghai Central Library" can borrow books and periodicals in the literature and literature theme lending room. Each card can borrow 6 volumes of books and periodicals for 28 days, which can be renewed once. Overdue fee is 0.20 yuan per book per day for overdue return.

2. Readers can borrow books and periodicals in children's reading room of Qingpu library with children's reader card. Each card can borrow 6 volumes of Chinese books and periodicals and 3 CD ROMs for 28 days, and can be renewed once. The overdue fee is 0.10 yuan per book (piece) per day.

Note: Our Library and all district and county libraries and street and town service points carry out off-site loan and return.
