Yiwu Town, belonging to Yiwu County, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Yiwu County, bordering tuhulu Township in the East, South, West and North. The area is 4.5 square kilometers. In 2018, 4851 people registered residence.

Yiwu town was established in May 1979. It has jurisdiction over the first and second residents' committees, and put the 41 and 42 teams of tuhulu commune under the jurisdiction of Yiwu town. As of October 2019, Yiwu town has two communities under its jurisdiction.

Historical evolution
