On both sides of the winding road in the north of Xiema cliff, there are ancient cypresses, which are covered with thick shade. People walk in it as if they have entered a shady cave, so it is called "cypress cave". In the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1899 AD), Zhang Fenli's stone was inscribed with the word "Baidong" and became a place name. In the scorching heat of summer, when visitors come here, they suddenly feel the breeze blowing on their faces, cool and pleasant.
Baidong

The mountain road stretches up, the ancient cypresses are towering, the shade is dense, and people walk in it, just like walking in the cave. A huge stone is engraved with the big character of "Bodong" in regular script. Tourists often take less rest here to get rid of fatigue so as to continue climbing. At the north end of the cave, there are four Sophora trees, commonly known as "Tanghuai". There are four original big Sophora trees, which are beautiful and ancient, and then grow three trees, a total of seven.
