Zhangying cultural site

There are pottery, stone and bronze artifacts unearthed from Zhangying cultural site. Most of them are brown pottery with sand. They are made mainly by hand with rope patterns on the surface of utensils such as cudgel, cudgel, pot and basin. Stone tools are mainly used for grinding sickle, shovel, axe and other production tools. Bronze ware is mainly small tools, weapons and decorations, chisels, cones, fishing forks, arrowheads, horn shaped earrings and so on. The site belongs to the lower culture of Xiajiadian. It is 250 meters long from north to South and 200 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of about 50000 square meters. There are six layers in the stack. The third layer to the sixth layer is the cultural layer of Xia and Shang Dynasties, 1-2 meters thick. On the sixth floor, several pieces of open drum belly are found, which are basically the same as those unearthed in the second phase of Xueshan culture in Changping. The third layer to the fifth layer of Zhangying site is roughly equivalent to the early Shang Dynasty, and the sixth layer is the Xia Dynasty.

Zhangying cultural site is located in the east of Zhangying village, Nanshao Township, Changping County. It is 250 meters long from north to South and 200 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of about 50000 square meters. There are six layers in the stack. The third layer to the sixth layer is the cultural layer of Xia and Shang Dynasties, which is 1-2 meters thick.
