Wenchang Dijun temple, also known as Zitong temple, is located at No.21 Maoer Hutong, facing south from north. It is a temple for worshiping Zitong Dijun or siluhongren Dijun in Wenchang. In the old days, scholars often worshiped it to protect their reputation. There are three original mountain gates, and the top of the ridge is hard. The building has been demolished and built. It is now a primary school. The existing temple buildings are still complete. The front hall is named Kuixing hall, with three wide faces, seven purlins in depth, front and back porches, and spiral colored paintings. In the hall, there is a statue of Jin Kui, 2.4 meters high, with a pen in one hand, an inkstone in one hand, and a gold-plated Kirin under one foot; a statue of emperor Wenchang, with a wooden dragon shrine; and a statue of Guanyin with ten sides and 24 arms. In front of the hall, an imperial edict tablet was buried in the ground. According to the records of Guangxu shuntianfu annals and Yandu congkao, the emperor temple of Wenchang was built in the year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the sixth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (1801).
