Beijing University of technology Olympic Stadium

Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium is the only Olympic Stadium in the southeast district of Beijing. It is located in the southeast of Chaoyang District, adjacent to the East Fourth Ring Road. The competition hall is 25.9 meters high and the warm-up hall is 15.5 meters high. After the Olympic Games, the gymnasium has become the sports center of Beijing University of technology, the fitness center of surrounding communities and the training base of the national badminton team.

Located in the southeast of the school, it covers an area of 66124 square meters, with a total construction area of 24383 square meters and 7500 seats. The total height of the building: the competition hall is 25.9 meters, the warm-up hall is 15.5 meters, and there are about 120 parking spaces around the hall.

The Olympic Stadium of Beijing University of technology started construction on June 30, 2005 and was officially put into use on September 24, 2007.

The steel structure of the Olympic Stadium of Beijing University of technology is the world's largest span (93m) prestressed suspen dome structure; the air conditioning system adopts the airless design, through more than 9100 swirling air outlets under the seats to ensure fair competition; the cold and heat source projects of the stadium use clean, environmentally friendly and renewable geothermal resources, saving 20% of power consumption; the lighting in the stadium is protruding There are 45 modes of automatic adjustment.

The Olympic Gymnasium of Beijing University of technology successfully held the "good luck Beijing" badminton and rhythmic gymnastics International Invitational Competition in 2007. The 2008 Olympic Games undertook badminton and rhythmic gymnastics, which were highly praised by coaches, athletes and the audience.
