Bailuzhou Park

Bailuzhou Park is located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Jinxiu road and Feixia road in Wenzhou City. It is adjacent to Jinxiu road in the north, Feixia road in the West and Nantang River in the East. It is connected with Nantang scenic area by two elegant bridges.

As a key project of Wenzhou municipal government, Bailuzhou Park and Nantang street form Wenzhou People's reception hall, which is deeply loved by the public. The internal river course is winding and crisscross, and there are fixed frequency water buses stopping here.

Development history

When Wenzhou was built, the legend of white deer holding flowers was incarnated as the name of the park. As a project planned for many years, it was one of the key projects in Wenzhou "six cities joint venture". The total land area of the park is 21.13 hectares, the total construction area is 12598 square meters, and the total investment is 429.2 million yuan.

Since its opening in 2011, the park has been open 24 hours a day. The main and secondary entrances of Bailuzhou Park are respectively equipped with parking spaces on the ground and in the basement. In addition to half of the area being used as a public parking lot, half of the commercial area in the basement is also reserved, which is expected to build an underground shopping mall. As the basement is not yet open, only 50 or 60 cars can be parked in the surrounding area for visitors.

Main attractions

The park is divided into seven functional landscape areas: Jinxiu road main entrance scenic area, central square scenic area, Feixia South Road secondary entrance scenic area, cultural and recreational activities area, eco-tourism area, shuixinxuan area and cultural village tourism and leisure area. Through the main garden road, it is also connected with several theme squares, such as the shady square, fitness square and leisure square.

In terms of leisure projects, the park has set up a tree Plaza, nanqutai, hexiangxie, Range Rover Pavilion and shuixinxuan to provide visitors with places to play and rest. The center square is equipped with large combined fountains and fitness equipment for morning exercise.

In terms of cultural facilities, the main entrance square and the central square of the park are equipped with ground carvings and large relief carvings. The cultural village in the park will be simple, bright and beautiful, with a little traditional elements of Wenzhou folk houses. Combined with the unique architectural forms of powu and Fenqiang Wadai, there are ancient houses of the Qing Dynasty in the area, which are the residence of Gu Chaohao, a famous mathematician in our city.

In terms of greening characteristics, through the optimization of the selection of common greening plants in the region, the multi-level combination of trees, shrubs, ground covers and lawns is adopted, the proportion of evergreen trees and deciduous trees is reasonable, and the functional characteristics of each landscape partition are highlighted. At the same time, the landscape axis is used for three-dimensional greening, the lawn is used in the close view, the flowers and shrubs are used in the middle view, and the tall trees are used as the background in the long view, so that the greening shows multi-level spatial effect.
