The meeting was originally held in Taiji Hall of Taiji palace in Zhengdong and Dongdong dynasties. After Gaozong lived in Daming Palace, it was held in Hanyuan hall instead. In the late Tang Dynasty, it was also held in xuanzheng hall behind Hanyuan hall.
