Huanghuashan Forest Park

Huanghuashan Forest Park is the only Island National Forest Park in China. It covers an area of 26000 mu, and the Tropic of cancer crosses through the central part. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides, with overlapping mountains and rocks. It is rich in natural resources and cultural landscape. There are more than 1440 tropical and subtropical plants belonging to 102 families, including living fossil bamboo cypress, precious fine leaf grape, boxwood and other wild bonsai plants at home and abroad. There are more than 40 kinds of national key protected wild animals, such as egret, boa constrictor, closed shell turtle and so on. It is known as "South China marine natural botanical garden" by experts and scholars at home and abroad.
