Dengdeng qudeng pagoda

The largest Pagoda in Tibet, which means "magic tower", was built in 1913. The inner circle and outer circle and inner circle of the main building are interlaced, and there are various niches on the surface of the tower, which are gorgeous and eye-catching. On the first floor of the pagoda, there are 155 Sutra turning rooms for believers. There are ten million copies of the complete works of wudaroni, Buddhism and ancient monuments in the pagoda. Among them are the rare editions of sutras from India during the Tubo Dynasty.

Every year, pilgrims come to Qinghai, Gansu, Tibet and the South and North roads of the prefecture.

Dengdeng qudeng pagoda

Dengdengqudeng pagoda, also known as JiangMo pagoda, is located in Seke Town, Seda County, 1.5 km away from the county seat. The tower was built in the year of the iron pig (1913).

According to legend, this pagoda is built by the Kongying mother of nianlong temple in Seda, who is the hereditary leader of vaxu in Seda, gaduo, and Lama sorangluowu. It is the highest Tibetan Buddhist pagoda in Sichuan Province, and presides over the construction of the pagoda for the prophecy of demons, exorcism, disaster relief, universal salvation, peace and prosperity.

Detailed introduction

After the completion of the tower foundation, including the peripheral room 100 meters, 52 meters high, a total of 9 floors, stone wood structure. The main building is round inside and square outside, round outside and square inside, staggered and stacked, with distinctive local characteristics, rich religious color and unique artistic style.

On the first floor of the pagoda, there are 155 Sutra wheels (with 100 million times of written incantation) arranged around the Sutra turning room for believers. There are 15 small niches on the second, seventh and eighth floors of the pagoda. On the second floor, there are 11 statues, which are distributed in the East, West, South and North. Inside, there are gold-plated copper Buddha statues, 1.6 meters high. There are also lunfo, lianhuasheng master, Dumu, Gengqing, LongQin raojenpuling Buddha, wuliangguang Buddha, body holding Vajra Dharma body, four handed Guanyin, lianhuasheng No.8 Jingang pout God and 1000 clay statues of Sakyamuni. On the seventh floor, there are 3 niches in the southeast and West, with the inner wall covered The statues of master Huaren, lianhuasheng No.8 and Tang dongjiebu (a Buddhist of Sakya sect of Tibetan Buddhism in the late Yuan Dynasty). On the west side of the statue of master lianhuasheng, there are 103 letters of ganjul and 208 letters of danjul; on the east side of the eighth floor, there is a statue of "past Buddha", that is, a Buddha of limitless light.

There are 36 shop windows on the third and fourth floors, which contain all kinds of painted Buddha statues. The remaining 1000 clay statues of Sakyamuni, which are 1 meter high, are inside. The ninth floor is the top of the tower, which is composed of 13 layers, drip trough, five Buddha crown and sun moon treasure.

Collection

There are several ancient monuments in the pagoda, including the complete works of wudaroni and Buddhism, which have been repeatedly written a thousand times. Among them is a rare edition of Tibetan scriptures, which was translated by Tun mishanbuza, one of the seven good ministers in Tibetan history, during the Tubo Dynasty and the 33rd generation of Tibetan king Songzanganbu. There are ten kinds of small gold-plated copper Buddha statues. In the heart of the pagoda, there are tens of thousands of war weapons such as swords, axes, axes, halberds, Buddhist treasures such as gold, silver, copper baht, jewelry and jade, as well as daily necessities such as silk, agricultural and sideline products, Tibetan medicine, men's and women's clothing, monks' cassock, etc., symbolizing that people will live a long life, have plenty of food and clothing, and be peaceful and prosperous under the protection of the pagoda.
