Buddhist cliff carvings in Kongwang mountain

All concentrated in the southwest corner of the mountain. There are more than 100 large and small stone carvings, the largest is 1.55 meters, and the smallest is only more than 10 centimeters. There are rich Buddhist contents in the cliff statues of kongwangshan, among which the "Nirvana map" shows that when Sakyamuni left the earth and went to the paradise, all his disciples "either mourn or wail..." And so on. The cliff stone inscriptions, such as "sacrificing oneself to feed a tiger", "banquet of Han Dynasty" and "overlapping Han Dynasty", are of high archaeological value. Its appearance shows that Lianyungang in Han Dynasty was one of the starting points of "maritime Silk Road". In recent years, Kongwang mountain has developed modern amusement projects such as cableway and amusement park, providing a new place for tourists to visit.
