Shenzhen Happy Valley

Happy Valley is one of the best theme parks in China. It is divided into eight theme areas: Spain square, cartoon city, adventure mountain, happy island, gold town, Shangri La forest, hurricane Bay and sunshine coast. There are more than 100 colorful amusement projects suitable for all ages. Shenzhen Happy Valley

Shenzhen happy valley, located at No.18, Qiaocheng West Street, Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, was completed and opened in 1998. It is a modern Chinese theme park integrating participation, appreciation, entertainment and interest.

Shenzhen happy valley covers an area of 350000 square meters, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. The park is divided into nine theme areas: Spain square, magic castle, adventure mountain, gold town, Shangri La, hurricane Bay, Sunshine Coast, happy hour and Maya water park, with a total of more than 100 amusement projects.

In 2005, Shenzhen happy valley won the title of "national civilized scenic spot demonstration site".

In 2007, Shenzhen happy valley was rated as the first batch of national AAAAA scenic spots by the National Tourism Administration.

Development history

In 1998, Shenzhen happy valley opened.

In 2002, Shenzhen happy valley phase II was completed and opened, with 2.3 million people entering the park.

On May 1, 2005, Shenzhen happy valley launched three phases of "Happy Hour" project, and the "May Day" golden week lasted seven days, receiving 220000 tourists.

In 2008, Shenzhen happy valley invested 200 million yuan to build a new project "magic castle". Covering an area of about 40000 square meters, it is composed of three theme areas: Neverland, magic forest and magic castle.

In 2010, Shenzhen happy valley built a Shangri La town with a new roller coaster with an investment of 160 million yuan.

In 2016, Shenzhen happy valley invested more than 300 million yuan to build a new hurricane Bay theme area, and launched two major science and technology interactive entertainment projects: XD dynamic cinema and dark ride theater, creating Tibetan culture theme haunted house project "hide and seek".

Main attractions

Piazza de Spain

Spain Plaza is located at the entrance of Shenzhen happy valley, with a comprehensive service area, including ticket office, tourist service center, Happy Valley annual card, club, group ticket office, happy valley station of happy trunk line, and catering and shopping area.

Magic Castle

Magic castle is located in the southwest of the entrance of Shenzhen happy valley. It has 20 entertainment projects, including Neverland, langhuatiao, laoshujing, ice and snow world, carefree jellyfish, jungle water battle, mounted police training camp, 3D cinema, simulated fire brigade, Arctic exploration, magic kitchen, little architect, Qiqu Tiandi, firecracker, happy home, bouncing frog, Castle watcher, and so on Crazy elves, ant troopers, carousels.

Adventure mountain

Adventure mountain is located in the west of the entrance of Shenzhen happy valley, with three entertainment projects: space shuttle, forest climbing and lover's garden.

Gold town

Gold town is located in the west of the entrance of Happy Valley in Shenzhen. It has seven entertainment projects, including gold drift, happy 66 of Western hunting ground, mining town workshop, happy 66 of laoxiangguan, listening room of gold mine, mining car and playing in the mine water.

Shangri-La

Shangri la is located in the north of the entrance of Shenzhen happy valley. It has 10 entertainment projects, including Blue Moon Valley, jungle hunting, Cha Cha big straw hat, snow eagle, Bitahai, otherness space, snow world, wings of colorful clouds, wind chaser and snow mountain flying dragon.

Hurricane Bay

Hurricane Bay is located in the west of the entrance of Happy Valley in Shenzhen. It has four entertainment projects, including torrent, perfect storm, hurricane storm and hurricane Bay happy 66.

Costa del Sol

Sunshine Coast is located in the northwest of the entrance of Shenzhen happy valley. It has six entertainment projects, namely, shady corridor, frog jump, Sunshine Coast beach, beach arena, cruise ship wharf and Buddha tree.

Located in front of the entrance of Shenzhen happy valley, happy hour has 12 entertainment projects, including laser chariot, four-dimensional cinema, rush hour, dream River, happy 66 in leisure area, happy Firewheel, UFO, discoverer, happy club member center, tornado, happy 66 in happy theater and discoverer happy 66.

Maya water park

Located in the west of the entrance of Shenzhen happy valley, the sunshine coast of Maya water park is open from May 1 to national day every year. It has 11 entertainment projects, including tide river, wanshen skateboard, Tiandi fanraft, leisure spa, Maya water village, parrot bar, drifting canal, sun whirlpool, python slide, feather snake ring and rainbow track.

Development and construction

Infrastructure

In April 2014, Shenzhen happy valley smart scenic spot project was fully launched. More than 70 WiFi signals cover the whole park free of charge, leading tourists to visit the park intelligently. Tourists can also purchase tickets by mobile phone and enter the park quickly with ID card.

From August 25, 2017, Shenzhen happy valley gold town area will be closed and upgraded (Note: the other eight areas are normally open and will not affect the play).

In 2005, Shenzhen happy valley won the title of "national civilized scenic spot demonstration site".

From October 1 to October 7, 2018, Shenzhen happy valley held the 10th China Acrobatic "golden chrysanthemum Award" national magic competition final and 2018 Shenzhen Happy Valley International Magic Festival.

From October 8 to November 9, 2018, Shenzhen happy valley wanshengchao game Festival officially opened.

From December 15, 2018 to February 19, 2019, the new year's season of Shenzhen happy valley officially starts.

From January 2, 2019 to February 4, 2019, Shenzhen happy valley will hold a winter vacation parent-child tour.
