Zhang Renjie, male, born in Shanghai in February 1939, is a member of the Communist Party of China, professor and doctoral supervisor. He has been engaged in the teaching and research of Sociology of education and comparative education for a long time. He has been invited to give lectures at IIPE in 23 countries and regions. He once served as the director of the Department of pedagogy and vice president of the Academy of Educational Sciences of East China Normal University, director of the Institute of Educational Sciences of Guangzhou University, member of the discipline appraisal group of the Third Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, member of the discipline planning group of the national leading group of Educational Sciences, vice chairman of the pedagogy branch of the Chinese society of education, chairman of the professional committee of educational sociology of the Chinese society of education, and member of the Guangdong Pedagogy Research Association President, vice president of Guangzhou Education Society.

Character honor

He was awarded the "20th century Achievement Award" by the Cambridge International biography Center (IBC), the third prize of Zeng Xianzi award, and the sixth group of outstanding experts in Guangzhou. Since 1991, he has enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council. Among the several works completed by the chief editor and main contributors, "outline of Chinese and foreign educational comparative history · modern volume" won the first prize of the second National Award for outstanding achievements in Educational Science and the Fourth National Book Award in 1999; and "dictionary of education · sociology of education" and "Encyclopedia of middle school · volume of educational psychology" won the third National Award in 1994 He won the first prize of excellent thesis of philosophy and Social Sciences in Shanghai from 1986 to 1993.
