Jingjingdong waterfall

Jingjingdong waterfall is located at the place where yuetaoliao river of xinliaoli in Pingxi District of Xinbei city flows into Keelung River, and Pingxi line of railway passes nearby. It is a famous scenic spot on the Keelung River. Because there are two holes in the middle of the cliff, which are shaped like glasses.

The waterfall is 6 meters high and 6 meters wide. It is an erosive waterfall. The reason for its formation is that the velocity of yuetaoliao River undercutting is far less than that of Jilong River due to the rejuvenation of Jilong River, resulting in the fall and the formation of waterfall. Because the rocks between the walls of the waterfall are hard, when the river rushes down, it erodes the two softer parts of the cliff, forming the two eyeglass holes we see now.
