Wangcheng Jijiang Bridge
Wangcheng Jijiang bridge is located in Wangcheng District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It spans Jishui river. It is the first prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge constructed by flexible pier multi-point pushing method in China. The bridge is 240m long and 2 × 1.5 + 7 (m) wide. The upper structure is 4 × 38 + 2 × 38 (m) two continuous beams with equal height. The cross section adopts single box and double chambers, and the beam height is 2.5m. The substructure adopts 1.5m double column flexible pier, bored pile foundation and basin type rubber movable bearing. The continuous beam is erected by multi-point pushing method of flexible pier, which is characterized by multi-point, grading, synchronous, adopting "grading pressure regulation, centralized control" construction, so as to meet the stress requirements of flexible pier.
The advantages are: light equipment, simple structure, convenient operation, suitable for light pier. It was completed in December 1980.
Designed by Hunan Provincial Transportation Planning Survey and Design Institute and constructed by Engineering Department of Hunan Provincial Highway Bureau.
