WangHeng Pavilion

WangHeng Pavilion, a tourist attraction in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, China, is located in the old urban area.

WangHeng Pavilion is located at the foot of Taogong mountain in Shizui NAO on the North Bank of Xiangjiang River. It was built in 1932 by Wang Jiejun, general of the national revolutionary army.

It is said that Tao Kan once stationed troops here and built two pavilions of "Wangyue" and "fishing" on the riverside. Xie lipuhua, the imperial historian of the Yuan Dynasty, once wrote a poem of "Wangyue Pavilion:" in ten years, come back to one fence, and time will not change the old River and mountain. The pavilion overlooks the Dragon collection room, and the tiger worships the spot from afar. Farming and fishing are happy every time you are pregnant, but you are not allowed to be idle when you are old. If you take a seat with a strong wind, you can see the fishing boat on Jinwan Later, the pavilion was abandoned several times, and yellow leaf Pavilion, Guanxiang Pavilion, Taogong Pavilion and so on appeared here. None of them exist. In 1932, General Wang Jiejun raised money to build a new pavilion at the original site of Taogong Pavilion. When it was built, you can see Hengshan mountain from a high altitude. Red maple at Yuelu can be seen clearly. Because you admire Taogong's meaning of "Wangyue", it is called "WangHeng Pavilion". According to the inscription of WangHeng Pavilion in Xiangtan County, "the pavilion is based on stone, and the pavilion is built on the stone steps. Surrounded by stone railings, looking around on the railings, the landscape of Jianggan is reflected in the eyes. Turn left from the pavilion and follow the iron ladder to the middle of the pavilion, and then the platform will stand. Looking at Hengfeng in the south, the rising sun is blue, looming in the misty clouds; surrounded by rivers, it meanders to reach the foothills. There are many obstacles and mountains in the wind and sand. Up and down the waves, sails bird Xiangji, liaozhu luting, uneven sunset. The scenery is so beautiful that it's full of happiness. Every time it's four o'clock, those who travel to the pavilion can't forget their love for the pavilion because of their lofty vision, lonely feelings, feeling the rise and fall of the world, and the silence of the world. " In September 1982, Xiangtan Municipal People's government declared the pavilion a cultural relic protection unit.
