Biyan scenic spot

It is located in Qiancheng and Houcheng villages of Hengshan Township, Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, at the north foot of the main peak of Bianshan mountain. Biyan, more than 300 meters above sea level, is called Biyan because it is steep and looks like moss and rust.

brief introduction

According to historical records, "Biyan is in Bianshan, where there are three rocks, Xiuyan, Yunyan and Biyan, but Biyan is the best.". There is Biyan nunnery on Biyan, overlooking Taihu Lake, with boundless waves and waterfalls beside it. In the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Ruiqing collected 12 famous sceneries of Biyan: Longkou, Qixingtai, Shibi, waterfall spring, zhulianshui, jinlianchi, Yanchi, Xianglufeng, Jiuquan Pavilion, Wanghu Pavilion, bujiumu, sheshenya. These 12 scenic spots are still alive, except for the artificial buildings such as the no rotten wood and the drinking spring Pavilion.

From the north slope to Biyan, starting from the half mile Pavilion, it ascends along the stone road, passes through the bamboo path, and passes through yuxietan and Qixingtai. On both sides, there are steep peaks and jagged rocks. There are Xianglu peak, parrot stone, baijingtai and other landscapes. On the Biyan, the main landscapes are zhulianshui, waterfall spring and Longkou, which can be called "Biyan three wonders".
