The vast majority of Pingwu's members of the Red Army died during the long march. Only 39 of them completed the Long March, including 6 retired and 3 returned home. The Red Army spent 56 days in Pingwu and left for the West on June 5. After leaving, the leaders of the puppet government made a comeback and wantonly suppressed the Red Army, Soviet cadres and guerrillas who were left behind to work in the local areas. 527 Red Army, Su Gan and guerrillas were killed by the returning regiment in the whole county. Among them, there are 62 Soviet presidents, 19 Land Committee members, 11 Bi Shu members, 103 women, interior and economic committee members, 16 guerrilla captains, 141 members, 76 Red Army members left behind to work in local areas, and 99 cadres' families, relatives and friends.

The crimes of killing the Red Army, the Soviet Union Cadres and the revolutionary masses by the KMT homecoming regiment are numerous and hard to record.

The revolutionaries died bravely, and their lofty spirit will last forever.

Three personal monuments have been set up for three Red Army officers and soldiers, and 353 Red Army officers and martyrs have been engraved with monuments of Red Army heroes and heroines in Sichuan Shaanxi Soviet area.
