Shuangta Lake

Shuangta Lake in Anxi, located 50 kilometers to the east of the county, was built in 1958. It is the largest agricultural irrigation reservoir in Gansu Province, with an effective storage capacity of 115 million cubic meters, a water area of more than 20000 mu and an irrigation area of 180000 Mu downstream. 312 national road passes through the north side of the reservoir, which is the only way to Dunhuang, Jiayuguan and Jiuquan.
