Banmai stone pagoda

In banmai village, Jiangzhou Township, Chongzuo county. The tower was built in 1612, the 40th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty. It was built by Huanghe Han, the 16th generation of chieftain of Jiangzhou, for his son shaolun, who died early. Tashi solid structure, the plane is hexagonal, 7 layers, 5.1 meters high. The tower base is 0.5m high and 0.35m in diameter. Each layer is carved with huge stones. On the front of the second layer, there are inscriptions on the pagoda, and on the other layers, there are 42 reliefs of flowers, trees, fish ponds, national musical instruments, birds and animals, human figures, Buddhist symbols, etc. The carving is exquisite and lifelike. It is valuable to study the connection between Zuojiang Zhuang and Buddhism, the Tusi system and the development of Zhuang culture.
