Shantou Queshi Bridge is a river crossing channel connecting Jinping district and Haojiang District in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is located on the Rongjiang waterway and is one of the main urban roads in the southwest of Shantou City.

Shantou Qishi bridge started construction on April 27, 1995;

Bridge location

Shantou Longshi bridge is located in the southwest of Shantou City, Guangdong Province. The north bank is Jinping District of Shantou City, and the south bank is Longshi town of Haojiang district. The bridge starts from the junction of Nanbin road and national highway G324 of Fuzhou Kunming line in the south, crosses Rongjiang waterway, and ends at the entrance of Yongtai road and the exit of Anping Road in the north. The section of the bridge is National Highway 324 (Fuzhou Kunming line).

Design features

Shantou Longshi bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and double cable planes. The main girder is a "mixed type" of steel and reinforced concrete. The anchor spans on both sides are reinforced concrete box girders with sightseeing sidewalks on both sides. The foundation of the main pylon is 16 steel pipe piles with a diameter of 27 meters, which are constructed by casing. The side piers and auxiliary piers are double column reinforced concrete structures, and each pier is 4 bored piles with a diameter of 1.8 meters Each pier foundation of the bridge adopts high pile cap, and two expansion joints are set at the junction of main bridge and approach bridge. The main tower is a pre-stressed concrete structure with diamond shape. The steel box girder of the main beam adopts a double box parallel structure, and the double boxes are connected by beams and transverse ribs. The South and North approach bridges are prestressed concrete T-beams. The cable plane of stay cable is slightly inclined inward, and the latest steel strand manufactured in the world at that time and single hanging cable scheme are adopted. The cable material is low relaxation galvanized steel strand with PE sleeve made in England, and HDPE pipe is used outside the whole cable.
