Gadan East bamboo forest temple

Dongzhulin temple, built in the Qing Dynasty (1667 AD), was formerly known as "chongchong cuogang Temple", which means the temple on the Bank of Xianhe lake. It is one of the thirteen forest temples in kangzang. After being destroyed during the cultural revolution, it was rebuilt in 1985. Because it is located in the leeward depression of Baimang snow mountain and the extended part of Jinshajiang River Valley, it has the characteristics of "no cold in winter and no intense heat in summer". There is a large Thangka with a length of 8.5 meters and a width of 5.2 meters in the temple. It is a statue of Dharma protector made of multicolored silk thread. It is displayed once a year at the Tiaoshen Dharma meeting for worshiping.
