Ovan National Forest Recreation Area

This is the only forest with pure maple forest in Taiwan. From November to February of the next year, the maple forest and deciduous fir in the park begin to turn from green to red, and gradually dye the whole valley red. The mountains and fields are hot and gorgeous, which makes people intoxicated. Therefore, it is also one of the most famous scenic spots in Taiwan to watch maple leaves. Another famous scenic spot is the ten thousand waterfalls and ten thousand lakes, the surging waterfalls and the green and quiet lake water, together with the rustling maple forest along the coast, making it quiet and comfortable.

Transportation information: 1. Passenger transport: you can take the passenger transport from your location to Puli, then transfer from Puli to Nantou passenger transport, choose Puli Wushe aowan line, and get off at aowan station;

2. Train: you can take the high-speed railway or Taiwan Railway from your location to Taichung, take the passenger train from Taichung to Puli, and then transfer from Puli to Nantou passenger train. You can choose Puli Wushe AOWANDA line and get off at AOWANDA station
