Qingshui River,

Also known as Longcheng River, it was called Lueyang River in ancient times. Hulu river is the largest tributary of Tianshui in Qin'an County. It originates from the north foot of shimiaozi village, zhangmianyi Township, Zhangjiachuan county, enters Qin'an County from yangjiahe village, Longcheng Town, flows through Longcheng, Wuying and Lianhua Town, and then meets Hulu River in gaojiagou, Jingning County.

There are records in shuijingzhu and qinanzhi. Qingshui River has a total length of 81.5 kilometers and a drainage area of 881.6 square kilometers. As the water source of the river comes from Longshan, it mostly flows through stone gullies with small sediment content and clear water, so it is called Qingshui River.

Within the territory of Qin'an County, the river is 24.1km long and the drainage area is 316.34km2, accounting for 35.88% of the total area. The annual average runoff is 0.63 m3, accounting for 29.72% of the total runoff; the annual average runoff is 1.94 million m3, accounting for 29.76% of the total runoff; the annual erosion modulus is 6800 tons / km2, and the annual sediment discharge is 2.15 million tons. There are 17 primary tributaries of Qingshui River in the county, 5 of which are more than 10 km long, and the longest Sujiaxia gully is 19 km long. Both sides of the river can be irrigated by gravity, with the main stream irrigation area of 20300 mu, planting various fruits, vegetables and crops. The ice age is 75 days.

The river of civilization

The world-famous Dadiwan site is located in Shaodian village, Wuying Township, northeast of Qin'an County, 102 kilometers away from Tianshui city. Dadiwan site is a cultural site of the early Neolithic period and the early, middle and late Yangshao culture. It was announced as a provincial cultural relic protection unit after 1958. It was excavated in the autumn of 1978 and was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1988. According to the data obtained from the excavation, Dadiwan site is a relatively intact ancient cultural relic of the Neolithic Age in the eastern part of Gansu Province, 4900-8120 years ago. The latest findings of the 2006 excavation show that the history of human activities at Dadiwan site has been pushed forward from 8000 years ago to 60000 years ago. The Dadiwan site has set a new record in six aspects of Archaeology in China: the earliest dry farming crop specimens in China, the earliest painted pottery in China, the earliest rudiment of Chinese characters, the earliest palace style architecture in China, the earliest "concrete" ground in China, and the earliest painting in China.

In addition, Xifu, Nuwa, kaixiao and Chen an were all born on the Bank of Qingshui River. Time has passed, but their brilliance will always shine in the album of history and in the memory of Qingshui River.

A place for military strategists

Qingshui River comes from the mountains from the east to the west, and opens in Longcheng Town, so Longcheng is a military fortress, which is the throat of Longcheng. In the west, there are lotus city and Dadiwan. The area is open and the soil is fertile. It is a beautiful place for the garrison to cultivate grain. It is doomed that this valley (called lueyangchuan in ancient times) is an ancient battlefield for military strategists of all dynasties. According to historical records, in the Warring States period, it was a place of separatism and hegemony.

In the eighth year of Jianwu in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu fought for two months with kaihuo, who was defending Longyou, in order to get Yangcheng (now Longcheng town) and achieve the goal of "gaining longwangshu". Now, opposite Longcheng town (the second terrace on the North Bank of Qingshui River), there is the field battle slope site where Liu Xiu, the great general, came to the battle between she and her general Jinliang. He fought against Liu Xiu, and Liu xiuxiao conquered Lueyang. He cut mountains to build embankments, pumped water to irrigate the city, and fought for wisdom and courage. Banners and horses, swords and spears, blood and bones, rise and fall with the surging waves of the Qingshui River.

It was also a battle between Jieting (the ancient battlefield site of Jieting is between Longshan Town and Longcheng town in the upper reaches of Qingshui River). In the summer of the sixth year of Jianxing (AD 228), Zhuge Liang went out of Qishan to realize his ambition of "fixing the Central Plains in the north and reviving the Han Dynasty". He sent Ma Su to lead the army to guard Jieting fortress, so as to cut off the way of Wei army to the west through Longshan corridor. However, Ma Su, who is familiar with military books, adheres to the so-called dogma of "being superior and overwhelming", and stationed troops on the mountain. As a result, the Shu army did not have a stable foothold, and the Wei people and horses stormed, surrounded the Shu Legion and cut off its waterways, so that the Shu army did not fight and became chaotic. When Jieting lost, Zhuge Liang cut Ma Su in tears. "More than a thousand families in Baxi county do not make up for the loss of the kiosks". Zhuge Kongming, who has been in charge for half of his life and is clever at calculating, cried bitterly and was so ashamed that he demoted himself to the third class to relieve the blame.
