Jinping Mountain Scenic Spot

Jinping Mountain was named as Jinping Mountain by Emperor Kangxi because of its beautiful scenery. There are many historic sites here, which is the birthplace of ancient Haizhou civilization.

The scenic spots mainly include Kongwang mountain, taohuajian Paleolithic site and jiangjunya primitive cliff painting in Neolithic age, which are known as "langyuan fairyland" and "the best River and mountain in the world".

It is also a good place for residents to relax and exercise on weekends. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of Langzhong ancient city.

Maitreya Temple in Jinping Mountain scenic area has four grand courtyards: Buddha, Universiade, Daxiong and Dazhi. It integrates Maitreya's Qiangba phase, Maitreya's thinking phase, Maitreya's Xianguang phase, Maitreya's Budai phase and Maitreya's Tianguan phase. Therefore, it has become a "Maitreya Taoist temple". The Maitreya Buddha (Maitreya bubagxiang) inscribed by Mr. Nan Huaijin was completed in December 1999, with a height of 1999 cm. It is the largest smiling Buddha in the world, symbolizing the good wishes for the peaceful reunification and prosperity of the motherland across the century. Free policy

You can enter the scenic spot free of charge by holding your own valid certificates (doctor's certificate, nurse's certificate, relevant medical certificate or medical unit's post certificate and ID card) at the tourist service center. In addition, more than 10 medical workers can make an appointment with the scenic spot one day in advance, and the scenic spot will provide free tour guide service.
