Luosanmei mountain is located in three towns of Zhongshan City, north of Zhongshan Hot Spring Hotel, with an area of 0.22 square kilometers and an altitude of 98.8 meters. Formerly known as Luogu mountain, also known as luoxiangu mountain. Luosanmei mountain got its name from a local legend. It is said that there is a girl named Luo Sanmei in Yongmo village at the foot of the mountain. She lost her father when she was young, and her family is very poor. Her mother has been sick and bedridden for many years, while Luo Sanmei is very filial and tireless. When Luo Sanmei was 14 years old, her mother died of illness. She was so sad that she didn't get a grain of rice for more than ten days. In memory of this filial daughter, the people named the mountain "luosanmei mountain". There is a small stone temple on the top of the mountain, luoxiangu temple, which was built in Guangxu period. On the pillars of the temple, there is a couplet: "the sound sounds, the Jinhua startles the strange stone, the trace is illusory, the Lang ring looks at the boiling spring". At the back of the temple, there are huge stones, which are piled up in accordance with each other. They are in great danger. They hit the midpoint of the stone with stones, and the sound is like beating a drum. There is only a gap between the boulders. When you look up, you can only see a line of blue sky, so it is called "a line of sky". There is a huge stone on the hillside on the left, which looks like a lying cattle. It is said that this cattle was originally herded by Luo Sanmei. After Luo Sanmei became an immortal, the cattle also became a huge stone.

In January 1984, Deng xiaoping visited the south. On the 27th, he stayed in Zhongshan Hot Spring Hotel, the first Sino foreign joint venture hotel in China. At about 8 am the next day, he boarded luosanmei mountain and went to luoxiangu temple. His entourage advised the old people to go back the same way because of the rugged mountain road. Deng Xiaoping said, "we don't go back the way we want to go back.".

Memorial Park

The theme of luosanmei mountain park is to commemorate Deng Xiaoping. Taking Deng Xiaoping's climbing path as the main line, the park has built many scenic spots, such as the inscription of Deng Xiaoping's classic quotations, the landscape bridge of "crossing the river by feeling the stones" and the monument Gallery, so that people can naturally receive the education of revolutionary tradition and ideals and beliefs in the process of sightseeing.
