Museum of Contemporary Art

The whole building is composed of Shenzhen Contemporary Art Museum and urban planning exhibition hall, which are independent and unified. The underground part of the two buildings is a reinforced concrete frame shear wall structure. Above the ground, there are two structural systems, the skin steel structure system and the main structure system of the tower. The outer skin system is mainly composed of outer perforated stainless steel plate + inner glass curtain wall system, glass curtain wall system, slotted stone curtain wall system and main entrance frame curtain wall system. Its design concept is a crystal clear city stone, with unique and aesthetic modeling and rich internal display space.

On the fifth floor, the two pavilions are connected with the cloud sculpture through an air bridge with a span of about 40 meters, forming a relatively independent and organically connected whole. Cloud sculpture as a function of the two shared space, to provide coffee shop, teahouse services. From the appearance, the cloud sculpture is a huge seamless mirror stainless steel whole. Through the unique surface and unique mirror treatment, the shape and lighting of the two pavilions are reflected to the audience from another angle. Cloud sculpture is not only a part of the architectural space of the two museums, but also a huge and powerful work of art.
