Anjue Temple

Anjue temple is a famous yellow temple. First, it was built in the late 18th century during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty; second, it was built in the 10th year of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty by the first Dalai Lama, luosangjiacuo, who made a pilgrimage to Beijing and returned to Tibet via Kangding. Anjue temple is originally called anque temple. "Anque" is Tibetan, "an" means "Five", and "Que" means "worship", which is the temple worshipped by five monks.

It is said that it was designed and built by five sutras, including Luo legle, a disciple of Yixi Jiangze, a famous Sutra master in houzang. In 1937, Dai Chuanxian, the examination institute of the national government, wrote the three characters of "anjue Temple", which were pasted with gold and then erected under the gilded eaves of the main hall. From then on, it was renamed anjue temple.

The temple is a Tibetan wooden structure quadrangle building surrounded by stone walls. The main hall is large, majestic and resplendent. The statue of zongkaba preaching in clay sculpture is about 5 meters high and has a natural appearance. Maitreya hall gilt copper Maitreya Buddha, 2 meters high, calm look.

Anjue Temple

Anjue temple, located in Kangding City, Sichuan Province, on the Bank of zhedo River and at the head of Jiangjun bridge, is a yellow temple in Tibetan Buddhism. According to legend, in 1652, the fifth Dalai Road passed Kangding, and at the request of the five eminent monks, he personally selected the site of the temple and opened up the site for the temple. Two years later, five Lamas were sent to build the temple, and five benefactors in the city were mobilized to build the temple. On October 25 of the Tibetan calendar, the temple was completed.

From the site selection to the completion of the temple, it has something to do with the five "Five". In Tibetan, the sound of "Five" is "an", which means "an Que".

In July 1937, Dai Chuanxian, the president of examination of the national government, wrote the name of the temple, changing "Que" to "Jue". Although the plaque was destroyed in the "Cultural Revolution", the temple is still famous.
