Inner Mongolia Film Museum

Inner Mongolia Film Museum is a private non enterprise unit approved by the Cultural Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and registered by the Civil Affairs Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Founded by Inner Mongolia film projection collection society, the museum officially opened on August 29, 2008. The main collection of the museum is film machinery, film copies, film posters, film books and other cultural products related to film. It focuses on the collection, sorting, research, exchange and appreciation of cultural relics. At the same time, it makes use of existing resources to popularize film knowledge and promote film culture and art. Inner Mongolia Film Museum is the second professional and serial film museum in China after the China Film Museum, covering an area of 2100 square meters. It has more than 1500 sets of film equipment and more than 2000 copies, including more than 200 copies of precious out of print historical materials and posters of film books in different periods.

Basic introduction

The purpose of the museum is to serve the society, to carry forward the excellent film culture as its own duty, and to make full use of the existing exhibition objects, words, images and pictures to show people the broad and profound of the film. Since its opening in 2008, the museum has received more than 2000 visitors. The leaders of the autonomous region, Ren Yaping, Wu Lan, Yun Xiumei, Niu Guangming, and the leaders of Hohhot, Tang Aijun, Zhang Penghui, Yang Feiyun, Bo liangen, Yun Lizhu, Bao Gang, have visited the museum and given high praise.

In 2008, Inner Mongolia Film Museum was rated as a patriotic education base in Xincheng District.
