Dulan site

The Dulan site is located on a gentle sea terrace about one kilometer northwest of Dulan village, Donghe Township, Taidong county. It is a third-class historic site. About 3000 years ago, it belongs to the Qilin culture. It is the southern edge of the megalith culture. It is divided into the rock coffin area and the stone wall area. The main cultural characteristics are various types of megaliths.

Basic introduction

Dulan forest farm and the backyard of Dulan farm may contain three cultural age sites: rope pattern red pottery, Qilin culture and Beinan culture. However, it remains to be confirmed by detailed excavation. The unearthed pottery is similar to the common orange plain faced sand mixed pottery, spinning wheel, stone sickle and stone frame in Beinan site.

The east coast scenic area management office is now actively planning to set up "Dulan Heritage Park", which has the dual functions of protecting cultural assets and providing intellectual tourism destination for the people.

1. "National highway" No.5: from "national highway" No.1 (Zhongshan high) to Xizhi system interchange, turn to "national highway" No.5 (Beiyi Expressway), cross the Xueshan tunnel, drive from su'ao interchange to Tai No.9 direction, reach Fuli township of Hualien, connect with Tai No.23 line, then turn around line 11 to reach Dulan site.

Passenger transport: take the shuttle bus from Taidong railway station to Taiyuan, Chenggong, Jingpu, Fugang and Shanyuan, get off at Dulan station and walk to Dulan site.
