Zhou's festival and filial piety workshop

Zhou's festival and filial piety workshop was built to honor Zhou. In her early years, she lost her husband, kept a festival and cared for the orphan, and served aunt Weng with filial piety. Chen Weiying, the cabinet secretary, wrote about her steadfast deeds and ordered Lifang to praise her. It has become an important local landmark. Chen Ma's Zhou's silk archway tells the world to be filial.

Zhou's festival and filial piety workshop

Located at the gate of No.36, Fengnian Road, Beitou District. Chen Ma Zhou's silk was born in March of the 53rd year of Qianlong (1788 AD) and died in May of the 26th year of Daoguang (1846 AD).

In his early years, when he lost his husband, he kept chastity and cared for his orphan, and served Weng Gu to be filial. His faithful deeds were reported by Chen Weiying, the cabinet secretary, to Lifang for praise. In addition, there is also a silk cloth "Jiebao" which reads: "Jiebao, the old lady of Chen's house, Zhou's service to the enzhun Advisory Department, invited the zhenbiaojie Xiaoyi square in detail according to the regulations, and was granted the title of Zhou tairu's virtue, righteousness and chastity, which is worthy of spreading in the world, and the ceremony of the house was ignored.". The square was built in 1850, the year of Daoguang. It was originally made of stone with four pillars, three rooms and three floors. After the earthquake in 1897, the square collapsed above the second floor. In recent years, it has been restored by the Civil Affairs Bureau of the municipal government. Now it has become an important indicator of the local area.
