Sai Wan (Cheung Chau WAN)
West Bay, also known as Cheung Chau Bay, is a bay on the West Bank of Cheung Chau in the new territories of Hong Kong. Surrounded by land on three sides, it is a natural typhoon shelter. The remaining seaward west side is built with breakwaters to enhance the function of typhoon shelter. The coast of Sai Wan is the most densely developed area in Cheung Chau, and the Cheung Chau pier is also located in Sai Wan.
