Donglongzhou

Donglong Island, also known as Nantang Island, is actually an outlying island of Hong Kong, covering an area of 2.42 square kilometers. It is located in the Nantang Strait in the south of Sai Kung District, Hong Kong, south of clear water bay and across the sea from Shek O country park in Hong Kong. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi, donglongzhou fort was built on the island to defend against pirates. In addition, there was a stone carving about 3000 years ago on donglongzhou Island, which was designated as a statutory historic site in Hong Kong. Donglongzhou became a favorite place for rock climbing and hiking enthusiasts in Hong Kong and the mainland, and also a dream place for sea fishing enthusiasts.

Donglongzhou

Tung Lung island is an island of Hong Kong, which belongs to Saigon District administratively. Covering an area of 2.42 square kilometers, the island is located to the south of clear water bay and southeast of Siu Sai Wan on Hong Kong Island.

The island has a fort left over from the Qing Dynasty; ancient cliff facing stone carvings; beautiful scenery; it is an excellent place to watch the sunrise on the sea. Donglongzhou is located in the south of Fotang gate, so it was called nanfotang or Nantang island in ancient times. Nantang Strait in the southwest of the island is also named after Nantang island. On the other hand, the Strait to the north of fotangmen is called fotangmen, but fotangzhou (beifotang) to the north of fotangmen has been connected with Qingshuiwan peninsula.

There is a special area of Donglong Island fort on Donglong Island, which contains Donglong Island Fort site. It is also one of the designated camping sites of the agriculture, fisheries and Conservation Department, which can accommodate at least seven camping units.
