Tangbula National Forest Park

Tangbula Forest Park is located in Tangbula gully on the north slope of Awulale mountain on the South Bank of the upper reaches of Kashi River. Tangbula grassland is one of the famous grasslands in Yili area with beautiful scenery. When the river reaches the mouth of Tangbula gully along the origin of Kashi River Valley, the terrain of Kashi River Valley is open and the river terraces on both banks are well developed. On the lush grassland of river terraces, hundreds of flowers are in full bloom. However, the dense spruce forest began to appear only after entering the Tangbula valley. The surging Kashi River is surging, the South Bank of Kashi River is covered with grass, the Tangbula Valley is filled with streams, and the spruce forest is green and straight. Tangbula ravine forest area is beautiful, refreshing and pleasant, picturesque in summer, and green in layers.

Tangbula National Forest Park

Tangbula National Forest Park is located in the east of Nileke County, Yili Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is a natural scenic spot composed of forest and grassland. It is characterized by grassland, hot spring, snow peak and river. It is composed of Tangbula grassland, mengkete grassland, alpine lake and gouxiong gully.

Tangbula, which means "seal" in Kazakh, is named because there are several abrupt rocks on the ridge of the northern slope of abrel mountain in the valley, which are similar to the jade seal.

Tangbula National Forest Park was approved as a national forest park by the State Forestry Administration in 2003. In addition to Tangbula summer resort, there are actas summer resort, Jorma tourist reception station, Bulu hot spring, balgeti hot spring and other scenic spots.

Tangbula National Forest Park belongs to the plain terrace of Kashgar Valley and the landform of middle and low mountains. The highest point is 4000 meters above sea level and belongs to the branch of Tianshan Mountain.

Tangbula National Forest Park belongs to Kashi River Basin, a tributary of Ili River. There are mainly Zeku River, Tekes River, Tuman River and other rivers in the park.

Resources

The forest vegetation types of Tangbula National Forest Park include natural forest distributed at the altitude of 2200-2500 meters, low mountain shrub forest distributed at the altitude of 1100-2200 meters, valley virgin forest and hilly plain plantation, etc., with the forest coverage rate of more than 85%. There are a large number of ancient tombs, rock paintings, holy springs and other grassland cultural relics and sites.

Scenic spots

Menkert Gorge

Mengkete gorge is located in Tangbula scenic area. It is a scenic spot with gorge, flying stream, forest, grassland, hot spring, glacier, ancient road and other multi-level magical landscape connected by Valley and ridge.

Alslang

Alslang is a scenic area composed of Zeku and alslang mountain canyon. Zeku, also known as Zhaikou, is the first enclosure of Weichang in Qing Dynasty. Alslang is an important scenic spot in tangbulabali scenic area.

Panliao City

Located on the Bank of Tuman River, panliao city is the palace city of ancient Shule state. After liberation, panliao city was built on the site of the original ancient city. With banchao statue as the center, the 36 warrior statue is symmetrical along the Shinto, with a 36 meter long and 9 meter high large semicircular relief screen wall behind it. There are gates, ancient pavilions, stone archways, city walls and beacon towers.

Development and construction

Tangbula National Forest Park was formerly known as Nileke forest farm and other forest farms;

In 1999, it was approved by the Forestry Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to establish an autonomous regional forest park;

In 2003, it was approved as a national forest park by the State Forestry Administration.

Traffic information

Take national highway g218 from Yining City, and enter provincial highway s315 northward at dunmazha town at k106 km.

There is no toll station along provincial highway s315, and there are many gas stations along the way for drivers to travel. It should be noted that the s315 line plane is narrow.
