Riyueping

Take the viewing cableway in the ski resort to the main scenic area, riyueping, in 40 minutes. Du Fu's poem "the clouds rise from the chest and the birds return from the canthus" seems to be the best portrayal of the beautiful scenery here. When you come to riyueping, which is more than 3250 meters above sea level, if the weather is fine, you can have a panoramic view of Mt. Emei, Mt. Gongga and DaXueTang. If you live in the scenic spot, you can take the cableway to see the sunrise in the early morning, which is also an indispensable part for many tourists to visit Xiling Snow Mountain.

Traffic information

Xiling Snow Mountain Tourist Bus: there are special buses from Chengdu Xinnanmen bus station and Jinsha bus station to the scenic spot every day, about 2 hours on the way. You can also take a bus from Chengdu to Dayi first, and then transfer to the scenic spot (ski resort). Finally, take the viewing cableway to riyueping.

Self driving

Chengdu - Chengdu Wenzhou Qiongjiang expressway, Dayi exit to Xiling Snow Mountain and Huashuiwan tourism fast track - Da Shuang Road, Heming mountain (Daoyuan holy city) - Huashuiwan hot spring resort town - Xiling town (turn right) - Xiling Snow Mountain Skiing scene area (the whole journey is about 110 km)

1. Take the bus directly to Xiling Snow Mountain at Chengdu chadianzi bus station. The departure time is 9:00 and 9:30. The ticket price is 33 yuan / person, and the journey is about 2.5 hours

2. Chengdu Jinsha Station - Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort, departure time is 9:00, 12:00, a total of two buses, direct to Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort

Internal transportation

At the back of Xiling Snow Mountain, from the tourist center at the foot of the mountain up, you can take the traffic cableway or climb the mountain on foot to yuanyangchi reception center, then transfer to the scenic spot free bus, about 10 minutes to Yingxue square (also walking, about 1 hour), and then take the viewing cableway to riyueping
