Liao Wan stone hall is located between Menkou village and Zhongxin village, Shangshui Township, new territories. It is the largest ancestral hall of Liao people in Shangshui. It was built in 1751 and rebuilt in 1751. It is said that Liao Gang, the distant ancestor of the Liao family, and his four sons served as senior officials successively in the Northern Song Dynasty. Each of them was paid 2000 stones, or 10000 stones. Later generations named the ancestral hall Liao Wanshi hall as a memorial
