Li Ping Qiao Street

Qiaojie, also known as Dongmen street, is a long march historical and cultural street in Liping County. This street starts from the east gate of Chengyuan in the East and ends at the lotus pond in erlangpo in the south, with a total length of nearly 1km. It is high at both ends and low in the middle. It is shaped like a wooden shoulder pole, so it is called "Qiao Street". On December 18, 1934, during the 25000 Li Long March of the Central Red Army, the "Liping meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee" was held in a shop on Qiao street. Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Zhu De all attended the meeting. Now, the "Liping meeting site Memorial" has become a "red tourism" resort. In addition to the meeting site of Liping, the main historical remains of Qiaojie include: the address of Mao Zedong, the address of Chen Yun, the former site of the Central Red Army Cadre recuperation company, the former site of the Central Red Army instructor, "two lakes" guild hall, evangelical hall, Red Army square, etc.
